Who We Are:
The Hispanic Chamber represents the diversity of San Antonio, including Hispanic professionals, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, as well as many of San Antonio’s major corporations, and helps businesses succeed by providing many opportunities for our members to build their businesses.
MISSION: The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is San Antonio’s leading resource and advocate for Hispanic businesses, Hispanics in business, and provides premiere access to the Hispanic market.
What We Do:
Through the CORE4 STEM Expo, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invests in our youth and enhances the students’ experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Those students will become San Antonio’s future workforce and will, one day, determine our economic success. The Hispanic Chamber impacts more than 3,500 students through the annual CORE4 STEM Expo.
Established in 1929, the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) is the first and one of the largest Hispanic Chambers in the United States, serving over a thousand businesses in the San Antonio metropolitan area. The Hispanic Chamber was originally chartered as the Mexican Chamber of Commerce, and today there are about 35 Hispanic chambers of commerce in Texas and about 600 across the nation.
The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) has been selected as one of the best-run chambers in America. A strong advocate for Hispanic business and Hispanics in business for 85 years, the Hispanic Chamber has been officially notified of its designation as a 5-Star Accredited Chamber from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It is the first Hispanic Chamber in the United States to be accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
