Sound Outreach provides compassionate guidance and beneficial tools for individuals and communities to move from financial insecurity to financial wellness and prosperity. Financial wellness is so important because it gives household resources to be able to pay for better health care, healthier food, which leads to a better life. Financial stability also supports mental health by eliminating stresses related to financial crisis. Many in our community are ready to take control of their lives and gain confidence but lack the knowledge to do so. Our financial counselors help with budgeting tools, assist in debt reduction and access to mainstream products designed to help clients build their credit. With your support we can reach our clients and guide them through the process of taking control of their financial lives.

Sound Outreach
Sound Outreach is driven to create pathways to stable housing and/or home ownership through financial stability efforts such as home buyer education, budgeting, savings, credit and credit repair including foreclosure prevention and loss mitigation.
The purpose of Sound Outreach's Financial Empowerment Initiative is to support the revitalization of the Hilltop and other low-income Tacoma neighborhoods by helping residents to prosper in place. We are engaged in a collective impact effort to stabilize Tacoma and Pierce County Households. Our efforts create links across sectors to enhance outcomes related to housing, homelessness, education, income supports, behavioral health, entrepreneurship, employment, and financial stability.
We help to build household economic strength in our community by providing credit-building financial products, financial counseling, and employment coaching to help people increase their net worth and savings, lower debt, boost credit scores, connect to mainstream financial institutions, and develop better habits around borrowing and paying back.

Sound Outreach provides guidance, direction, and support to all those in need, with a focus on economically vulnerable populations in Pierce County. Staff take a comprehensive, affirmative approach, ensuring that clients feel respected, looking beyond their initial needs that bring them in for help. Our model ensures that each individual or family explores their financial, health, basic needs, and housing assets to gain long term stability and independence.
